Laufey reborn as Surt, in Norse mythology the King of Muspelheim the fire giant who will bring Ragnarok (the end) to the Universe by burning it down by the fire. His shining sword Laevateinn according to Northern mythology is made by Loptr or Loki the god of mischief who was the god of fire.
